We leave daily from Las Galletas at 11.00am and again at 2.30pm for a three hour cruise. Maxicat has a free bus pick-up service from all hotels in the South of Tenerife. The catamaran sails out towards La Gomera and then along the coast towards the cliffs of El Palmar or to the Montaña Roja, always keeping an eye out for whales and dolphins, which 90% of the time, we will see. Over 26 species of cetaceans have been identified in Canarian waters and in addition to pilot whales we may encounter any of the following whilst we are out on the boat: Bottlenose Dolphins, Common Dolphins, Atlantic White-Sided Dolphins, Sperm Whales, Minke Whales, Beaked Whales, a variety of sea turtles, jelly fish and flying fish. After sailing along the coast with the guide pointing out all the points of interest and providing lots of interesting information about the whales, we will anchor off the shore for approximately 30 minutes, giving the passengers the chance to swim and snorkel in crystal clear waters. Throughout the trip drinks and snacks will be on offer at the bar, all included in the price. We have a photographer and video camera-man on board to record the whole experience for the clients - the photos, personalised videos and other merchandise are available for purchase on the boat.

Ausfahrten finden täglich statt: Abfahrt um 11.00 Uhr und 14.30 Uhr, Ausflugsdauer: drei Stunden. Der Katamaran fährt in Las Galletas ab. Maxicat organisiert einen Abholdienst von allen Hotels im Süden von Tenerife. Wir segeln Richtung La Gomera, um die Grindwale zu beobachten, die in diesen Gewässern das ganze Jahr über zu finden sind. Wir haben eine Chance von 90% sie zu sehen. Nach etwa 40 Minuten mit den Walen segeln wir weiter an der Küste entlang zu den Felsen von El Palmar oder zur "Montaña Roja" und halten ständig Ausschau nach Walen und Delphinen in dieser Gegend. Über 26 Gattungen von Meerestieren sind in den Gewässern der Kanarischen Inseln identifiziert worden. Ausser den Grindwalen ist es möglich, dass wir folgende Gattungen vom Boot aus erblicken: Grosser Tümmler, Atlantische Delphine, Gewöhnliche Delphine, Pottwale, Minkwale, Schnabelwale und Meeresschildkröte. Während wir an der Küste entlang segeln wird unser Führer Sie auf interessante Merkmale hinweisen und Ihnen über Wale Auskunft geben. Danach legen wir für etwa 30 Minuten an, so dass unsere Passagiere die Möglichkeit haben, zu schwimmen und im kristallklaren Wasser zu schnorcheln.Während das Ausfluges bietet Maxicat Speisen und Getränke kostenlos an. Ein Fotograf steht zur Verfügung, und ein Video wird für die Gäste gefilmt. Fotos und ein persönliches Video und andere Artikel, die mit dieser Ausfahrt zu tun haben, können auf dem Katamaran erworben werden.
